Hallo, ich studier zur Zeit Business Administration in Dänemark. Dh meine gesammten Fächer sind auf englisch und ich bräuchte nun mal hilfe von den Cracks hier on Board, die mir bei ein paar Aufgaben helfen könnten.

Die Aufgaben wären wie folgt:
Problem 3
Consider the following demand relationship connecting the quantities demanded of good x (Qx) to the price of good x (Px), the price of another good y (Py) and to the income level expressed by an index number (I):


Question 3.1.
Assume the following values Px = 450, Py = 500, and I = 100 and determine Qx

Question 3.2.
Assuming that Py = 510, what is the new value of Qx? Also, calculate the demand elasticity of x with respect to the price of y. Are x and y complements or substitutes?
Question 3.3.
Keeping Py at 510, assume now a drop in the level of income implying that I = 95. Determine Qx and calculate the income elasticity of the demand for x. Is x a normal or an inferior good?

Question 3.4.
Determine an expression of the relationship between Qx and Px when the values of Py and I are as indicated in question 3.1. above. Graph the quantities of x demanded as a function of Px and determine the price elasticity of the demand for x, when Px is at 550, 450, 350 and 250 respectively. At what price is the demand for x unit elastic?

bei meiner Frage geht es hierbei um die Aufgabe "Question 3.4"! und zwar, wie lässt sich die Funktion so umstellen, dass eine entsprechende "expression of the relationship between Qx and Px" rauskommt?

Consider the following model of a perfectly competitive market, where QD and QS indicate quantities demanded and supplied of a particular good:



Question 5.1.
Determine the equilibrium price and quantity.

Question 5.2.
Calculate the change in consumers’ and producers’ surplus following the introduction of a minimum price of 120.

Hierbei ist meine Frage, ob ich bei 5.2 den change in consumer surplus und producer surplus so ausrechne, dass ich einmal mit P = 40 ( wie es in 5.1 als ergebnis herauskommt) rechne und dann P=120 gegenrechne, und dann die Differenz ausrechne, die dann vorhanden ist??!?!?

Brauch dazu dringend Hilfe, da ich den Scheiß morgen abgeben muss :bang:

zu 3.4)
Indem du die komplette nachfragefkt. einfach nach Qx umstellst.
Soweit ich mich errinern kann (ohne Sparanteil udn der Vorraussetzung, dass das komplette Einkommen verwandt wird):
I = Qx * Px + Qy * Py
daraus folgt dann:
Qx = (I - Qy * Py) / Px

Mit SParquote(Sq):
I = Qx * Px + Qy * Py + Sq
daraus folgt dann:
Qx = (I - Qy * Py - Sq) / Px

Falls ich falsche Ausgangsformel genommen habe, poste kurz die richtige. ;)
